Essential Dentistry Skills for RVTs

Scheduled for April 30, 2026 from 8:30am- 4:30pm
This hands-on continuing education course is designed specifically for Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) seeking to elevate their dentistry skills and confidence in the clinical setting. Participants will gain practical experience in key areas of veterinary dental care, including proper radiograph positioning, local nerve block techniques, dental cleaning and instrument maintenance.
Dentistry Skills for RVT's $750
Hybrid Online and In-person course includes:
✦ 1 year of access to the Dentistry Skills for RVT's online course
✦ 1 day in person session of dental dry and wet labs including:
Dental radiography introduction and positioning
Dental Nerve blocks in the dog and cat (Dry and Wet lab)
Dental scaling, root planing and polishing using power and hand instruments
Dental instrument hand sharpening using a stone

Dental Radiograph Positioning for RVT's $750+HST+Mileage
This team training is designed to help reboot dental imaging in your hospital.
✦ 1-2 Dentistry RVTs will come to your hospital and provide radiograph positioning and acquisition for RVT's. Contact us to book.
